FYI:
I have already submitted a PMR for this issue; but I wanted to let others know of this problem for their installations.
“Do not automatically add names to the Recent Contacts view” does not work correctly during setup for roaming users if it has been previously set for them. During a fresh installation on workstations, DisableDPABProcessing=1 does not get added correctly to users’ notes.ini files when their roaming files are pulled down. The setting will still display as checked in Preferences; but it does not work. Contacts are silently added to the Recent Contacts view. We have tested and verified that this occurs during setups on Windows, Mac, and Linux clients.
After setup; manually un-checking and re-checking this setting will generate the correct DisableDPABProcessing=1 in notes.ini.
