We are currently running Domino 7.0.2 on Solaris 9 and we had an issue with hot fixes that we need another hot fix issued from IBM. IBM Support is however recommending that we upgrade to 7.0.3 that was released earlier this month.
If you did upgrade, did you run into any difficulties? Any reasons why upgrading to the point release would be bad decision?
Thank you in advance for your assistance, thoughts, and time.
We haven’t put it in production yet (waiting for a hotfix on top of 7.0.3). 7.0.2 was generally very stable, though some gradual memory leaks resulted in horrific explosions after a month or so. We ended up needing to bounce servers every few weeks. It was still worlds better than the later 6.5.x releases, though.
Obviously test (especially since there’s ~1400-1500 fixes since 7.0.2), but usually getting on the next point release is a good thing.
