Hi all,
Lotus says R6 server can run a pentium class machine with 192 MB memory.
I currently have a 200 Pentinum Pro Machine with 512 MB ram running 4.67a.
This machine spents 90% of it’s time just serving up mail files (70 users). 10% application serving. No HTTP process or SMTP routing.
Personally, I think both (processor and memory) are too low to provide decent performance in the long run.
I’m curious if anyone actually has a server machine running with that low a hardware requirements on R6. Will performance be acceptable?
