Readviewentries, linebreaks in Firefox

Hi,

I have a view which I want to open with ?readviewentries. In one of the colums are large entries, say 25 K. It works fine in IE but in Firefox there are line breaks in the entries. What can we do about that ???

Not a lot you can do with the ?readviewentries i am afraid.

The thing is that Domino does not set the content type right for the xml output. This results in firefox and mozilla handling the xml as text/html.

What you can try is embed the view in a page and set the content type as it should.

Ot maybe you can encapsulate the large text body with a CDATA tag (CDATA - Wikipedia). This will propably make firefox and mozilla handle the encapsulated part as a literal (not tested that).
