Reading tables from MySQL

Hi all there,

I’ve a question concerning MySQL and Notes.

I would like to get some table data from a MySQL-Database (both Domino and MySQL running on Solaris). The values should be “wrapped” into some HTML-Tags and shown in a view. Background: I want to connect to a MySQL-based Content Management System for a consistent dynamic navigation menu, because there are some Notes applications but the content part of the web-site should be realised with a “Non Notes” CMS.

So, what’s the best way? I thought about the easyest way with “iframes”, but the customer doesn’t like that (and he doesn’ like normal frames).

Using some SQL-Statements in a JAVA-APP called by an manually triggered Java-Agent?

What about DECS and/or LEI? I think, it’s oversized and don’t know, if this connectors work on solaris.

So any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks Manfred
