Reading detail from a view

For some reason or another, I seem to remember that you could see thedetail of a document in the view, but you couldn’t open the document or see

anything else such as the document details if you went into the document

properties.

Is this indeed something we can do from Notes? I am just not sure of the

detail concerning this.

Any info on this would be appreciated, whether possible or not.

Hiding a database’s design stops people from looking at field properties for documents. But please note that that is only a deterrent, and there’s many other ways to look at the fields in a document that you have access to.

You can right click on a document in a view and bring up Doc propertied IF you have at least read access to it.
