Hi every body,
In my web application, only employees gives their emp number, then they will get the details from database. There is no need to edit by the employe.
In my organization nearly 800 employes there. Someone suggested that, give Reader access.
But i dont how to give that access using readers field.
Pls give me the solution.

You can create a Readers Field in the form which is used to create the documents which will be accessed by the employee.You could make the Readers field Computed and set its default value to be a Names field which has the employee name who should have read access to the document…Hope this helps.

You may do that by modifying the ACLs of your application. You can access ACL window opening appl. with Lotus Notes client with administrator right. then add people with Reader access. The way is File–>Database–>Acces Control
