Read only calendar entries

Hi,Well I’ve lisetd this as a question.

Bit of background:

We are looking into ‘sync’ing’ the Lotus Notes Calendar with an external system.

What we would ideally like is that the calendar entries created automatically via the external system, would be Read Only in Lotus Notes.

This is going to be a one-way sync, and we are going to ask the users to only update the entries in the external system.

RESTRICTIONS:

  • The mail template cannot be modified.

  • The users appear to have ‘manager’ access to their mailfiles.

Is there a way to achieve this (read only calendar entries?)

With users being managers, and you not being able to modify the design of the template, I can’t think of a way you can do this.
