Hello,
is there any possibility to access mailbox using iNotes and PDA (without Domono Everywhere).
We have corporate iNotes server with capability to access mailbox from internet kiosk or from desktop computer.
I have iPAQ 2215 with Mobile Windows 2002 and i receive an error message then i attempt to access coprorate iNotes after authorization successfully finished.
Any ideas on that?

John:
There’s been quite a bit of traffic on this forum about iNotes and PocketPC problems.
The bottom line is that the iNotes template is doing stuff (it’s either JavaScript or DHTML and I never recall which) that PocketIE doesn’t like.
There are a couple options, and one which has been discussed here is to create a special “mobile inbox” with no script, no java no nothing. I’ve gotten this to work, but it requires changing the iNotes template … which is always risky.
Another option is to consider Domino Everyplace. DE works, and it’s not all that expensive.
I’d check it out.

In reading up on the Domino Everyplace product, it says that you will need a WAP gateway from a phone service provider. Is this absolutely necessary if all you want to do is read your email (iNotes) in IE on a Windows Mobile PDA using a wireless connection (802.11g, for example)???

On your end, all you need is Domino Everyplace. As noted in a previous response, PocketIE can’t handle the iNotes template directly …
But, if you’re talking about a PDA using 802.11, you still need DE or something similar to serve the pages correctly.
