Re: date problem

Hi there,

I asked this question before. I have a field called FROMDATE it uses a date picker and its default value is @today (but the user can change it using the datepicker). The next field called DAY has a formula of @Adjust(@Created;0;0;1;0;0;0). When i test it out, I change the date to another date but the field called DAY remains as the date that it took when the form was opened. Basically it wont change. I want it to change based on what the user picks. I tried Onchange Event, but it wasnt working for me.

Subject: re: date problem

What kind of field is DAY? Maybe a stupid question, but I have to ask. Hopfully it is COMPUTED.

Also, set the form to refresh automatically.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Field DAY is a computed text field. I have set the form to refresh automatically, i tested and it still doesnt work. I’ve also change the formula for DAY to @Adjust(FROMDATE;0;0;1;0;0;0)

Subject: RE: re: date problem

I think you need to change the DAY field to computed Date/Time field. And also please be aware that the DAY field will not be changed until your cursor exits the FROMDATE field.

Good luck!
