What are the preferred raid settings for a domino server
our disk partitions are:
os & notes code = c: partition (own disks)
transaction logs = e:partition (own disks)
domino data = d:partition (own disks)
what are the preferedd raid setting for each partitions
we usuallly have os and domino code on raid5 amd transaction logs raid-mirrored
what should i set the below settings to for each of my partitions above ?
stripe size (64, 128) for each partition ?
write cache (writer back or write through) ?
read cache (enabled or disabled) ?

I wrote some C++ test programs, both 32 and 64 bit, and measured that using IBM glass fiber network storage drives you get about a 300% speed increase. Physical hard disks are not recommended anymore, except for the OS on C: drive (ack, what am I saying, /dev/hd0 of course!).
