Does anyone know how much it take to upgrade the domino directory and other NTF files while upgrading the server to R6?
I am upgrading from 5.0.8 to 6.0.1
I ran the exe to copy required files, then copied my customized pubnames.ntf to the domino\data directory and started setting up the server.
The server console came up and said it is upgrading the database designs… and it just stayed there. It has been more than 3 hours now and is still the same status. I checked the status through the windows tasks status and it is still ‘running’
Does it really take that much time?

We just did ours. It took at least that.

Subject: Ain’t gonna work
You need to be running Notes 6 public address book design on a Domino 6 server. Otherwise, mucho problems ahead for you.
Any customisations you need to keep will have to be added to the Notes 6 NAB design.

Subject: Not only won’t it work properly, it’s completely unsupported, too.
It would sort of be like trying to run Win2000 with a registry file from Win98…

It is just a test server I had setup…
and there is just one database other than the standard dbs. It is about 550MB in size
