We are currently working on R5-R6 migration and we planned to do the application(s) testing with Win2K environment (R6.5.2 server). Our Production server is in Solaris-Sparc environment.Would this testing be effective when we finally rollout our applications to Solaris environment?

In order to get accurate test results, your test environment really should mirror your production environment. We’re running Domino servers on Windows servers and AS/400 and have noticed some differences between the two. I can only imagine that there would be differences between a Win2K Domino server and one on a Solaris-Sparc environment.
