Hi. I have recently upgraded my NT4 to XP Pro. I also installed R6.0.1. From the beginning, Notes will stop responding about every 15 minutes, causing the need to restart XP so that I can get back into Notes. I have renamed the desktop file, I considered that it might be locking up while checking for new messages, so I disabled that. These have not helped. It progressively locked up more frequently, to the point that if Notes was left idle, it locked up. So I began to open notes, check mail, then close it before it stopped responding. So this morning, I removed Notes and reinstalled it, same release, same issue. I should mention that killnotes.exe does close the program, but I still must restart to relaunch Notes. I have posted this question in other forums and haven’t had much luck. Thanks in advance.

No, can you give me a link to more information?

Perhaps you could try searching the forum yourself? (What a novel idea!)
However, you could try this link…

True. But that was the post referred to. I made no comment as to whether or not it fixed your problem - you just asked for the link. (And suggested that you might want to search for it yourself rather than asking for someone to do it for you…)
I’ve been running Notes 6 on XP since Beta 1, and have had no serious problems with it at all, so I can’t offer any advice that might help here. I can’t even think of much within Notes that might cause your problem, without more information than you’ve given. (Like, is your mailfile local or server-based? Is your mailfile customised? How often are you replicating it? What type of connection do you have (network, dial-up, WAN)? What’s your network load like? What else is running on your machine? What’s in your notes.ini file? etc etc You get the idea…)
