We are in the process of upgrading our development platform for notes databases from 6.5 to 8.5. The java agents in 6.5 have a base class listed and the jar files are stored on the server. When we open the java agents in Designer 8.5, the base class name is missing.
Does anyone have a solution to this? I am sure there is something to fix this but it will take a long time for us to have recreate all the agents in Designer 8.

Subject: Solution
The default editor has a bug or issue so it will not show the correct information. The agents will run without issue but to see the information you must do the following.
File---->Preferences—>Domino Designer—>Java Editor. At this point, uncheck the option Use Eclipse based Java editor.
This will allow you to at least see the base class getting executed.
