Well I would check the help file or the release notes.
The different is night and day.
Why do I say that? In R5 the java applets were not fancy – similar as the notes client. In R6 it is almost the same. THat is the technical different.
Functionality-wise nothing is different. you can send email/respond/forward.
I would urge you to at least get a pc for you to test and use your designer client to view the web mail section. (design client will allow your pc to have WEB functionality).
I think that is where you need to focused. Also check LDD Today. I am use there is data there.
