R&R Mgr not processing reservations

We are in the process of upgrdaing from ND7 to ND8.

We have upgraded the server to Domino 8.5.1, upgraded the design of the R&R database, enabled all the agents in it and restarted the server.

However, meeting invites sent a room which doesn’t require approval are not being processed. The document stays in the $NLookup view. This happens form both Notes 7 mail and Notes 8.5.1 mail.

The R&R agent is writing the message “Error processing reservation document (UNID …) in database resource.nsf” but no further info.

Could someone help us troubleshoot what is going wrong. The room is called NoRestrictionsRoom/Initech@OurDomain so I don’t think it is due to invalid characters in the room name.

Subject: Server configuration was the issue

When we upgraded to Domino 8.5.1, we also upgraded the hardware, which had a different fully qualified host name. I looked at this troubleshooting guide (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27002916&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en) and consulted with the Notes admin. It turns out that they didn’t update the DNS to map to the new name. Once they did that everything went okay.
