When Using File - Application - Open or Ctrl + O in Designer I’m getting this error:IBM Lotus Domino Designer

Unable to find path to server. Check that your network connection is working.

If you have a working connection, go to Preferences Notes Ports and click Trace to discover where it breaks down.

Tracing is done OK.

My server name is containing the letter “&”.

All server names in the open list having “&” is it not possible to open.

Other not containing “&”, no problems.

The “&” is translated to “&”

The Ctrl + O is working OK from Notes client.

As possible workarounds in the meantime, can you open the server in Designer using ip address? Or open the db in client and then use View - Design to open in Designer?

Update: Have reproduced. I only see the connection failure when opening from the filtered server list, type partial server name in the server field. If the server is accessed by typing the full server name in the Server field and hitting [Enter], the connection succeeds and the server is opened. Do you see the same? Have submitted problem report VMAA89FP3F.

Yes i’m able to open the other way around, ip, from client and by full server name.
