Quota Warning Report (Incorrect data type for operator or @Function: Number expected MB)

I didn’t find anything in the forums or support for this specific issue, but figured out a fix based on other documentation. I’m posting the fix here in case anyone else needs it.

PROBLEM:

Quota Warning Report CONTAINS ERROR:

Mail file and quota information

Your mail file on Nemo/newpenn at 09/11/2008 03:55 PM

Current usage: 178,700 Kilobytes (Incorrect data type for operator or @Function: Number expected MB)

Quota Warning threshold: 153,600 Kilobytes (Incorrect data type for operator or @Function: Number expected MB)

Quota Size limit: 204,800 Kilobytes (Incorrect data type for operator or @Function: Number expected MB)

SOLUTION:

Open in Designer the mail.box of the server that creates your quota warnings. Open the Form “Quota Report”. In the table for “Mail file and quota information”, after each “kilobytes” is computed text. Modify the formula for the computed text by removing the “(” + at the beginning and the + “MB)” at the end. On the form, type ( before and MB) after the . Save the form. Mark the form properties for “Do not allow design refresh or replace to modify”.

All new AND EXISTING quota reports on this server will now read properly. Repeat on additional servers as necessary.
