Hello everyone.
I wanted to get some feedback regarding using Domino and Lotus notes for our company setup.
Currently, our company contains 40 people, but that number will reach 100 in a little over a year. With that in mind, we are looking for a solution that will provide a lot of flexability, robustness, scalability and overall efficiency in helping the company and our users, in all categories.
Currently, we have setup a Domino 6 server and setup 6 people with Lotus Notes Clients. It’s a private setup, but it is working very well and looking at all the features the system offers, I feel im just scratching the surface.
Enough rambling. 
I’m trying to convince my manager that using Domino and Lotus notes for our Company is the way to go. I like all of the options that it offers, but the part that will be the test is selling it to my Manager.
I was hoping to get some feedback on users here who currently use this for their company, and why Lotus Domino is by far the better way to go.
Here is what our plan is.
-We are going to have one Corporate Office, the hub for the company.
-We are going to open up multiple branch offices in the next couple of years.
-Number of employees could reach 150 (in few years)
Now, i’d like to setup something with Domino at the corporate office as the ‘main server’. At the branch offices, I could set up some sort of backend or front end server that can store email there as well, if needed.
Can domino and lotus do this efficiently?
I apologize for the rant, but im trying to grab all the information that I can so I can sell this product and get started on this.
