Questions about Notes mail files?

Hi all,

First, I’m not administrator.

We use Exchange for mails, agenda, etc, we use Outlook client (not Notes/Domino). From Notes databases we send mail to user (e.g. for worflows), all works fine.

In this context, it’s necessary to create a database for each mail Notes user?

Notes/Domino use mail files to transfert mail to Exchange?

To keep some disk space, we can delete all databases mail (not used)?

Subject: No mail databases are required

You do not need mail databases for users if all messages will be routed to Exchange. Be sure to test that messages from Notes with bad addresses are handled correctly since delivery failures cannot be routed to users’ Notes mail databases.
