Question: Notes/Domino 8.5 and TCO savings

IBM is interested to know of customers who are experiencing positive and measurable TCO/TEI - (Total Cost of Ownership/Total Economic Impact) savings as a result of these new capabilities in 8.5 gold. If so, in what way? (example: we reduced our operating expenses by $XX by consolidating our 10 Domino servers down to 2)

  • Storage savings via DAOS and compression

  • Server consolidation

  • Improved Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Reduced administration costs (Dynamic policies, Notes ID vault, etc.)

  • Application development modernization

  • Application compatibility

  • Reduced costs associated with client improvements in 8.x (e.g.: reduced support, training costs, improved user productivity - Shared Login, ID vault)

  • Reduced costs via free Lotus Symphony
