I’m having a difficult time getting a scheduled agent to retrieve data off a different server that also happens to be in a different domain.
Here’s my scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Scheduled agent on Server A/Prod1 attempts to run agent and read data off a database located on Server B/Prod2. The Scheduled Agent is signed by an id that is listed in the address book on Server B/Prod2.
Server B/Prod2 has Server A/Prod1 listed in the trusted servers field.
For who is allowed to access this server, Server B/Prod2 has the ‘Users listed in all trusted directories’ option checked.
When the agent runs, Server B logs the following error:
10/25/2006 02:38:47 PM ATTEMPT TO ACCESS SERVER by Server A/Prod1 was denied.
I have read the LDD today articles on agents (troubleshooting and decoding ND6) with no luck. Can anyone provide me with any insights?
