Question about @Sort

Hi,I am trying to test the @Sort formula in Notes, I just test the example in the help, but it seems it is not working, anybody knows why?

this is copy from Help:

---------------These examples are translation formulas. Assume that the initial value of the field is a list containing: New Boston, Albany, new york, San Francisco.

  1. This formula returns: Albany, New Boston, new york, San Francisco.

@Sort(@ThisValue)

  1. Same as above.

@Sort(@ThisValue; [ASCENDING])

  1. This formula returns: San Francisco, New Boston, new york, and Albany.

@Sort(@ThisValue; [DESCENDING])

I create a edit field and add @Sort(@ThisValue;[ASCENDING]) to the Input Translation formula area, the copy the text “New Boston, Albany, new york, San Francisco” to that field, and press F9 key, it is not working.

what’s wrong with @Sort formula?

Possibly nothing. Does the field allow multiple values, and is a comma an allowed value separator for the field?
