Question about BES on Domino

This is not a question about a Domino problem. I have a BES server that I just upgraded to 5.0.2. We were at 5.0.1 and were having intermittent server crashes about every other day. I worked with BlackBerry support and they were able to confirm that it was a problem in the BES software. Basically we start getting this message:

Error attempting to access the Directory names.nsf specified in notes.ini. Error is Directory Assistance has detected unavailable replica, retry NAMELookup

Within a few minutes the Domino server crashes. We have had the problem for months but were living with it until we decided to apply the fix yesterday. Now we have made the problem worse. I spoke again with BlackBerry support and they admitted that maybe the problem was not really fixed in all environments and they gave me a set of workarounds, which, in all honesty, were more troublesome than the server crashes.

I was just wondering how many people might be experiencing the same problem? BlackBerry support is working on the issue and I am hoping they eventually get it fixed. For now the server crashes are a real pain.

We are having the same problem. Our system configuration is:

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

The problem has occurred on both Domino 8.5.1FP1 and Domino 8.5.2. Both are 32 bit. The 8.5.1FP1 server was Windows 2003 and the 8.5.2 server is running on Windows 2008.
