Query regarding behavior of recurring meeting while saving it for the first time

Hi,

I have mentioned some steps for Lotus Notes recurring meeting, which in turns unexpected behavior for the Lotus Notes.

Steps used:

  1. Create new recurring meeting

  2. Get error on the first ‘Save and Send Invitations’

  3. Update start date and time for the recurring meeting

  4. Save recurring meeting successfully

Result:

Start date doesn’t get updated for the recurring meeting after second ‘Save and Send Invitations’. That is changes done after failure of the first ‘Save and Send Invitations’ doesn’t get updated to the recurring meeting.

Unexpected Behavior:

For the above mentioned steps, changes done to the recurring meeting after failure of the first ‘Save and Send Invitations’ doesn’t get reflected.

Is this Lotus Notes known problem? Is there any workaround to avoid this unexpected behavior? Any help will be appreciated.

This is not “expected behavior”, so the error must have some meaning.

Thanks for the help.

I didn’t get any Lotus Notes error. I purposely failed the ‘Save and Send Invitations’ call for the first attempt(By setting Continue = False for QuerySave and QueryClose event).

Changes done after failure of the first ‘Save and Send Invitations’ doesn’t get updated to the recurring meeting.

Is this Lotus Notes known problem? Is there any workaround to avoid this unexpected behavior? Any help will be appreciated.
