It has been discussed here already
I have the same problem on Linux.
The only thing I have been able to find is that (presumably) all servers with this problem are running TrendMicro.
There has been a mention of 100% CPU usage in connection with this.
Can anyone confirm?
Are we all having the same problem?

SOLVED - obtained hotfix from TrendMicro to fix other issue (MessageID mail header problem) and it fixed this one, too.
