Subject: Fix Packs, Interim Fixes & Critical Hotfixes
Previously it was my understanding that when a new Fix Pack is released, all prior fix packs, Interim Fixes & Critical Hotfixes are rolled into it.
If so, why didn’t 8.5.1 FP2 include all of the files/fixes that are in Cumulative Domino Web Access Hotfix Pack 304.2CHF1 for Domino 8.5.1FP1?
And if the fixes are not included, shouldn’t the 304.2CHF1 download show up on Fix Central when viewing fixes for 8.5.1.2 ?

Subject: Move to LDAP
Want to move from Domino Directory to LDAP. Currently at 8.0.2 on an iSeries box with LDAP running, but we aren’t using it for any authentication.
Will this upgrade offer an easy why to accomplish this….
Subject: Send To from Windows Explorer doesn’t work in 8.5.x
Using Notes 8.5.1, with or without FP1/FP2 all english version, I don’t get Send To from Windows Explorer to work, nothing at all happens.Send To from within a application like Word, Excel or Adobe Reader works fine.
Using Send To from Windows Explorer and Notes 6.5.5 works just fine.
Is Send To from Windows Explorer a known limitation in Notes 8.5.1 ?.
Subject: Works for me…
I’m using Notes 8.5.1 under Windows XP and it’s working fine from Windows Explorer.
Subject: RHEL Questions
- Are the only supported versions of Redhat Enterprise Linux versions 5.0 & 5.1? Anything newer?2. Is 64-bit supported for RHEL now? I’ve been told no. We are currently running our admin server (on 703FP1) using 32GB of memory on RHEL 4.6 with the hugemem kernel. After much tweaking, using this much memory turned out to be the best way for us to run our server without issue.
RHEL version 5 does not support the hugemem kernel, therefore the maximum memory allowed is 16GB when using RHEL version 5 on 32bit.
So in order for us to be able to continue using our 32GB and run the server comfortably, we need to use 64bit. Can you please advise?
Thanks.
