Pubnames.ntf: Invalid NSF function

Hi,

I want to upgrade only our domino directory to R6, not yet the server. I put the R6 pubnames.ntf on the 5.0.5 server as told in the redbook. Then I get “Invalid NSF Function”. Is there a way to keep on running my R5 server and using the design task to refresh design with the R6 pubnames.ntf? Can I revert the ODS of this ntf-file?

Yes, but you’ll need to do it on the D6 server.

Make a copy of pubnames.ntf, then run ‘load compact -R copyofpubnames.ntf’, then copy that database to the R5 server.
