Proxy authentication in HTML emails

We are using Notes for email and receive constant complaints from users that they have to enter their proxy / windows user name and password to display some HTML emails correctly. Even more of a nuisance is that when they change their windows password they need to change the passwords in all the related documents stored in their local address books, as well as the proxy settings in the location doc.

As we can browse the internet through Notes, using IE, without having to re-authenticate, is there any way that Notes can be configured to allow this similar sort of invisible authentication for HTML emails?

Thanks
