I unfortunately installed the Eclipse 8.5.1 client on the same machine as my 8.0.2 client.
Since that time both my Composite Application Editor and my Property Broker have stopped working. The CAE will not display Symphony components correctly, and the Property Broker opens the WSDL file but does not display the Properties, Types, and Actions Tabs at all!
I have uninstalled both 8.5.1 and 8.0.2 I have reinstalled, I have removed the Designer and reinstalled, I have removed the Symphony components and reinstalled.
NOTHING WORKS!
I used to be able to have my Notes 4,5,6,and 7 clients all installed on the same machine quite happily. I can only assume that since Notes 8 this is no longer possible.
ie: just a quick example: To uninstall Notes 8 and try and clean out the registry, will take you about 3 days worth of deletions! (mostly Symphony related) I can’t recall this ever being the case with an earlier version of the Notes Client.
