Prompt for location

We are looking to roll out shared login (via a security policy) to all users, approximately 90% of which have laptops and use different locations to work off-line on local replicas. I can’t see a way to force all clients to prompt for location at startup via a policy, it’s a real problem for us as we don’t want to manually set it on each.

I am considering looking for a vbscript to add the line PromptForLocation=1 to the ini via AD policies but I would rather use a Lotus solution if possible.

Any ideas?

Within the Custom Settings tab for a Dynamic Desktop Policy, there is an option to “Add these Notes.ini settings to users’ desktops:”.
