With great bravoure they stated at LotusSphere that Domino 8 beta will be available in february. We are already in March and still no beta to see.

If you are looking for some kind of other communication, as far as I know, none is coming.
Once the beta is publicly available, the lotus.com/nd8 pages will be updated.
