Programming with ADSync

We are looking at the possibility of trying to synchronise our lotus notes addesss book with our already established active directory. My question is - is it possible to synch when the identifying fields are slightly different ie notes has a user ID like 345 and the AD user ID is AAA0345. Are there any programming options to marry up these two different fields into one?

You should look into Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) which is bundled with Domino 8 and can be used for any kind of integration where Domino 8 is a part of the solution.

I do not know your experience with ADSync, but TDI works!
