Programming a button to edit the notes.ini

I have virtually no Notes programming experience so please bear with me.

I’d like to program a button that I can email to users, that will edit their notes.ini.

Can anyone help me?

There’s relatively little to it, as buttons go. It just needs to be LotusScript with the following code:

Dim s As New NotesSession

Call s.SetEnvironmentVar(“VariableName”,“New value”,True)

Call s.SetEnvironmentVar(“OtherVariableName”,“Other new value”,True)

Call s.SetEnvironmentVar(“YetAnotherVariableName”,“Completely different value”,True)

The “True” means you want to set system-type values (the ones that don’t begin with a $).
