Profile documents and the basic client

Should profile documents work the same way regardless of the Notes client being used?

I have a number of apps using profile documents and they work fine when I’m using the standard client. It’s a pretty simple scenario, just an agent with @Command([EditProfileDocument];“DBProfile”)works as expected when I run it with a standard client but when I run the same agent using a basic client it doesn’t do anything. No error messages, nothing. Same user, same access, same application, same agent, different Notes client.

Any thoughts?

There shouldn’t be any problems with profiledocuments in the basic client because this is the Notes Client without the eclipse shell.

We have the same issue, it only occurs in 8.5.2 Basic, 8.5.1 Basic is fine

Another reason I won’t upgrade the organization to 8.5.2.
