Problems with server based archiving

I have set up server based archiving for a handful of my users.

For most of them it is wotking perfectly but for one of them I get the following error message in the log:

Error archiving documents from mail\mailbox.nsf: Invalid or nonexistent document

Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong? Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Ole Martin,

I was wondering if you ever managed to get this solved. i have encountered the same problem and have not been able to solve it.

For those of you who might be interested, I managed to solve the “Invalid or nonexistent document” error. It appeared when i tried to run a compact -a on the mailfile to archive documents that were “marked as expired”.

After running a compact -d on the mailfile, the archiving worked fine again.

I had the same issue - fixed by copy-style compact.

Hi

Any chance this mailfile is part of a (former) shared mail environment ? If so, there might be an old, invalid “pointer” to the object store. Try unlinking, compacting (copy style) and fixup…

open mailfile & press Ctrl+Shift+F9 this will update all views in mailfile. Looks to be a index issue

Hi Ajay and thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately running refreshing indexes did not help. I have also tried trunning fixup and updall on the database but that did not do the trick either…

Any other ideas?
