Problems with Message Disclaimers ? Read This

Hi,

Just thought I would share my findings with you all. Recently had a problem with server based message disclaimers. They were implemented by OU (different OU’s had different disclaimers) but sometimes there was no disclaimer, sometimes the wrong disclaimer and sometimes it worked. The only consistent factor was they explicit policy we had set up.

IBM suggested this NOTES.INI parameter on the server which apparently solves these inconsistencies :

policy_disable_cache=1

We had the same problem. IBM gave us a hotfix for Domino on Linux.

Solution for this problem is expected Sept. 2007

SPR # KRED6WXKP8 has been fixed in Domino 7.0.3 (due for release in September 2007 http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/r5fixlist.nsf/progress/$first?OpenDocument)
