So, I inherited this database and a number of others. In the past few months, I have gotten a lot better at ‘reading’ and updating the LS code so I can change things so they work the way I need them. I am working my way through LS, wishing and hoping to attend training some day. When I was younger, I could read and self-teach, but…I digress.
I have a database that generates Time Cards twice a month. 1-15 and 16-end of month. After the end of the time card period, all peole with incomplete cards get a nice ‘nasty-gram’ telling them their time card is overdue. They all got a notification today (the 28th) that their cards were overdue. I don’t know about you, but there are 31 days in March. I checked and the cards have days 16-31, but the view shows that the period is from 16-27.
I am in a time crunch bind for a different project and would like to resolve this issue for the nice people who are getting these nasty-grams. If there is anyone out there who is interested in looking at the code that sends out the cards and can tell my why for the first time in years the database has decided that March has 27 days, I would be happy to send it on and be forever in their debt and sing their praises. Or, I would happily create a new cliche in their honor.
Thank you!
