Hi All;
We renectly upgraded to 6.5.1 on our main application server, which is behind our firewall.
Users are required to authenticate when accessing any databases on the server.
We are running SSL and we’re our own certifying authority.
There is another server that acts as a portal that directs traffic towards the databases on the server that is behind the firewall. This portal server is outside the firewall and has links such as “http://ourbusproc.ourcompany.com”
When that request is sent to the secure server, it should automatically switch to “httpS://ourbusproc.ourcompany.com”. Instead we just get 404 - file not found errors.
If I manually typed in the “s” at the end of the “http”, it then finds the server and allows the user to login.
This only started happening since we upgraded to 6.5.1, all the settings are the same as in the previous versions that worked going bact to R4.
Is there something going on with 6.5.1?
has anyone else noticed this or could point me in a direction so that I could solve this?
Please help this is urgent.
Thanks
