first of all , im not a domino administrator, but the issue was reported to me.
a few months ago, i had to create a NAB called namescadastro.nsf, which one is populated by new users being registered in my company site.
also, we have a CMS product, and this NAB is used there.
the Author can restrict the reading,editing of a document in this CMS…
i have a form(web), which allows the author to select the users he wants to restrict or allow to do something.
well, this form by default opens the Corp´s address book(which is the primary names.nsf from the server)
but in the same form, i have a combobox that lists all the NAB´s you can search for. by the time they are: names.nsf and namescadastro.nsf
namescadastro.nsf was added to the server´s Directory Assistance for auth needs. it does work!
but to make possible to list this namescadastro.nsf at the NABS available, they created an extended directory catalog. and this namescadastro.nsf started to be available at the form.
now the problem…
when i switch from primary names.nsf to this namescadastro.nsf
i get “ERROR specified in formula”
as im not a domino administrator, i tried to explain a little bit the case.
but im kinda lost. cause neither me , or the admin knows what to do.
what i need to know is how should i proceed so this namescadastro.nsf can be used for authentication needs, and to be “searchable” in this form which i select the users.
Maybe it is a code issue, as the error is “error in search formula”, but i want to clear my mind up to this administration doubt, cause if its not on administration, its a code error.
i want to make sure im doing it alright at domino administrator.
