We upgraded our main Notes Server to 6.0.1 but we left all other Servers at 5.0.11. (All Servers are W2K) All clients are 5.0.3, 8, 9 or 11. (Clients are on Win9x and WinNT)
1.After the upgrade, some users had some of their e-mails show up in the Inbox as well as a subfolder they had created and moved them to.
2.Some users have e-mails that show up only in the all documents view. (this happened before the upgrade)
Any idea what caused either issues and how to fix them?

Which mail template version are you using? What Domino version is running on the MAIL Server of the user who had the problems? I would suggest to refresh the design of the mail template or even to replace the design with the apropriate mail template. Good luck!

Most users are using the inotes5.ntf template. Mail Server is 6.0.1. I replaced the client mail design with inotes60 and still have the problem. For this user it looks like only mail between May 2002 and October 2002 are affected.

I have exactly the same problem
My users were on a domino server 5.0.7A and i noticed after the problem occured that there were no compact task running on their mailboxes .
I replicated their mailboxes on a Domino 6.0 server with Linux
Their message in folders reappears in the inbox folder which is a lot of trouble to them
If anyone has information to explain and solve this, thanks for it

Meanwhile I discovered the following: I installed Domino 6.0.1CF1 global English, then I ADDED the German language pack. I had problems converting the users mail files, the inbox was empty. I removed the German language pack and then REPLACED the English version with the German version. The convert was working fine. The mail was kept in the inbox.
