Hello all…
I didn’t know exactly how to get help with this issue so thought I’d start here. Our Lotus Notes Administrator has looked at this issue and advises that all is fine but it is NOT !!!
On January 1, 2005 I tried to archive all of my folders containing email I’d received in 2004 and ran into problems doing the archive. So I ended up having to selected each document and arhive as “selected documents” from each individual folder. After the archive was completed, I noticed that all the archived documents contained the “who, date, size, subject” info but each document has a "blue-colored broken link icon beside it. And when I click on the email to open it for reading, it is completely BLANK !!! So in a nutshell all the emails I’ve archived are empty when I open them from my archive database.
Can anyone tell me if this problem is fixable? It seems that no one at my organization knows how to fix it, and keeps saying that they’ve never seen this before. Aside from doing a complete system restore from backed up files on the server (which means I’d have to manually go through emails all the way from August 2004) does anyone know what’s wrong?
Also, my folders now say “Folders” and then inside of the Folders folder, there’s another folders folder which then has all the folders I’ve created. To fix this, I made a copy of my mailfile, and then delete each individual folder, logged completely out of LN’s and then re-opened and now theres simply just a “folders” folder. Now I’m able to create new folders up under “folders” which is what I had originially before all this crazy stuff happened.
HELP please !!!
