Hello everyone.
I’ve created an explicit policy over the Domino administrator, everything seems to be OK when i save it, but i have a little problem when i apply it into a user…the problem is that nothing happens. In this case, my policy aims to change the encryption configuration for an user, but when this user opens his Notes client, the change that i want to make isn’t applied, so, the policy doesn’t work at all…
Where would be the problem?
Regards.

On the users’s PC, in their local Address Book, press and hold CTRL+SHIFT, then click on View → Go To, and look at the $Policies. Does the new policy show up there? Even better, delete all the policies such that they are no longer there and will be applied next time user connects.
Also, have you run a policy synopsis on the user to determine what policies are applied and how they impact the user?
I can’t recall it, but there is something that runs on the client side to do this. If this isn’t running, it could be why the policy is not being applied.
