I’m having an issue displaying a view over the web using the Java applet option. The view displays in the applet, but I cannot interact with the applet at all. The applet won’t scroll or allow me to select/click on any documents. It’s almost like the applet is a gif. I’ve checked everything I can think of. Does anyone have any suggestion? Our server is running R7, the db was designed in 6.5.2, and we’re using IE 6.0.2900.

I would try the same situation with a different view. If that works, start changing that view into the problem view and retesting until you find the cause. If no other view works, find a database with a view that does work, and again, change the db properties into the problem db’s properties and retest until the cause is found. If no working db and view is found, I would try varying the level of Designer Client, and if no go, then, vary the browser.
Also, look at the HTML - is it an applet or a gif? Possibly the page is not the URL you think it is?
