Problems opening and closing tabs in Mac Client

I’m having numerous problems opening and closing tabs in the Mac Client. These include:- tabs opening BEHIND the current tab. For example, I want to create a document and it opens the new document tab behind the current view.

  • tabs opening to blank pages. Sometimes this goes away if I close the tab and try again. Sometimes I can’t close the offending tab

  • error of ‘DisposeView UIJob’ on closing a tab.

Problems are intermittent, but seem to get worse as the number of open tabs increases.

Is anyone else seeing these problems? Is there a solution?

Running Revision 20081211.1925 (Release 8.5)

Standard Configuration on a MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.6

Subject: Are you running with Open Tab in New Window?

I can try to reproduce this if I have more information on your configuration.

Subject: Using the default settings

Windows and Themes preferences are on the default settings:- open each document in a new tab

  • Notes 8 Theme.

Have you found a solution for this? We have a PC user with the same issue.

Subject: ‘DisposeView UIJob’ has encountered a problem. Error

I have a customer with a similar error. She has multiple location documents when she switches locations a Problem Occurred error box appears with this message. After you select “Ok” on the error message dialog box the toolbars at the top of the Notes client are greyed out and have no icons to select.

Subject: Fixed the issue that I posted!

I reconfigured notes by deleting everything under the top 6 lines in the notes.ini file. When switching between location documents the user no longer gets this pop-up error.
