I am trying to install the Lotus Notes 8 client on my new Mandriva 2009 desktop machine.
The install always fails with the message “An error occurred during provisioning”. This is followed by a long list of components whose installation has been cancelled.
I am not sure exactly which build of Notes 8 I am trying to install but if someone lets me know how to find out I can add that information.
Oddly enough I could install the notes 8.5 beta without problems, but when the client connected to the corporate notes server I got a message saying the server would not accept 8.5 clients.
I really need notes on this machine and running Notes 7 under Wine is causing me lots of problems so any help/advice would be much appreciated!
