Problems Installing Dom 8.5.1 on Windows 7

Has anyone installed 8.5.1 on a Windows 7 platform? I’m running into a problem getting the JVM to run and am just wondering if it’s Win 7 related.

I’ve inserted the following in Dom’s Notes.ini to get HTTP to run at all:

HTTPDisableJVM=1

JavaUseClassicJVM=1

Any suggestions on how I can unravel this conundrum?

I did have the same problem, although on a Windows 2003 server (on one server out of a few, the rest worked OK).

What fixed it was just reconfiguring the Domino server, so just wiping the notes.ini, apart from the top few lines then running setup again.

We just upgraded our server to 8.5.1 and that didn’t help matters any. I doubt it’s a server-side thing anyway as, like I said, clients on Windows 7 show the Korean emails just fine.

Who would of thunk it?? Found a post on the web suggesting I reinstall the Domino server and now it works fine.
