Yepp! I happily agree (although I’d be even more happy to help, which I can’t).

I’m out of my depth here, but perhaps one of y’all can help out. The original message was:
Hi!
Situation: we have a Domino server (titi) in the internal network, and an authentication server (toto) in the DMZ that controls external access to the Domino server (for replication, for example).
Now replication is not working for some databases for some clients.
The client is correctly configured (connection documents are in order). It can connect to the server, and the user can see everything they have access to.
For example – there are five databases on the Replicator page. Replication is not scheduled, the user clicks the “Start Now” button to replicate. Four of the databases will replicate properly (3 calendars and one mail database). The fifth database, a mail database, will seem to start the replication process, but then breaks off with the error message “Remote system no longer responding”. In this example, I am left with an unusable 3MB replication stub rather than a 45MB database.
I don’t understand why this particular database will not replicate. I have tried replacing the local database [an OS copy from within the network, from what I can gather, although it could be a clean replica, again from within], but that hasn’t fixed the problem.
Might there be spam or virus-laden messages interfering with replication?

Are all users having the same issue with this one database?
They are able to access it directly and read the contents?
So, when trying to create a fresh replica, does it always stop with “no longer responding”? Does it stop about the same place? That might indicate corruption. A Fixup and Compact might help.
A local OS copy MIGHT work, but only if you don’t have things like enforce-consistent-ACL set. Also, you will get somewhat odd results if there are readernames fields or encrypted docs.
p.s. I have never heard of a virus of any sort that could affect replication.

yes i have tried with 2 differents users and get the same negative result. they can open directly the database connecting to the server. With this database, the replica i get is always the same size
(1832ko instead of 55000ko, for example)
My computer is in the domino’s LAN.
make a full replica of this database on my computer works. i’ll try the local OS copy.
