Problem with Subject line after Load Convert command

Good Morning,

I am having an issue with one of my users. I ran the Load convert command against her mailfile to upgrade the mailfile to mail8.ntf. After the conversion, the users email subject lines are either messed up. Either there is no text in the subject line or the number 179 is showing up.

Can anyone tell me how to get the text to show back up? I’ve ran a fixup on the mailfile and this didn’t help any.

Just looking some more, it seems to be the inbox view only. I looked at some other folders and they look fine. I tried the Ctrl + Shift + F9 to rebuild the views, but this didn’t do anything either.

Subject: Resolved my issue by creating a new replica.

I created a new replica of the mail file and the inbox ended up looking fine. Also ran updall -r on the mail file as an extra measure.

Subject: Got my Response through PMR…Solution in here.

I opened a PMR with IBM and got the issue resolved. The $inbox must become corrupt. To resolve this,

We created a temp folder within the persons mail.

Moved all the documents from the $inbox to the created Temp folder.

Opened the users mailfile in Designer

Deleted the $inbox folder

Went back to the users Lotus Notes and replaced the design of the mailfile

Sent a test message, everything was working fine.

Moved the items from the Temp folder back to the inbox.
